Australian Training Company is looking for a highly motivated 1st year Automotive Apprentice for a small friendly workshop based at Seven Hills.   You will work on all makes and models of vehicles and gain a variety of knowledge. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is mechanically minded with determination, motivated and have a willingness to learn. This role is for someone who has a genuine interest in cars. As part of the role you will be a team player, be able to listen and effectively carry out tasks as directed and be willing to assist in general housekeeping of the workshop.  This is a 4 year apprenticeship in Automotive Light Vehicle Certificate III including 3 years at TAFE where you will be trained to repair and maintain passenger vehicles, this includes:
  • servicing
  • repairing
  • diagnosing faults on all vehicle systems, engines, brakes, steering and suspension
  To be successful in this role you will need to have good communication skills, good time management, ability to perform tasks in an efficient manner, display excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills, be technically minded and focused with a proven ability to perform tasks. You must be reliable, enthusiastic and able to work Monday – Friday 7.30 to 4.00pm. Some Saturday work may be required.
