4 Year apprenticeship on the job including 3 years at TAFE
About the Role: Parks and Gardens apprentices maintain and care for all aspects of garden and lawn maintenance including residential, local parks, recreational areas and commercial premises.
- No experience required
- All training is completed on the job including 1 day per week at TAFE
- TAFE is a paid work day and no fees!
- Driver Licence (not L’s) and own transport is highly preferred
Duties: Pruning, planting, hedging, mowing, identifying plants, using fertilisers and chemicals, maintaining irrigation systems, identifying pests and diseases, shaping branches, using various machinery and advising on general tree and garden care.
Locations:
- Metro Sydney: You will learn all aspects of garden and lawn maintenance. Work may be located in the Inner West, Lower North Shore and Sydney.
- Western Sydney: A large landscaping organisation require an apprentice to assist with the maintenance of recently completed commercial projects. Commencing work at Tallawong Metro Station and maintaining the grounds in that region.
Australian Training Company is a Group Training Organisation employing apprentices and trainees then placing them with host employers. ATC pay wages, superannuation and all payroll entitlements.
