Delivery Options

Employment Based: This training occurs in your own workplace which includes regular visits from our Education Team. You can be a trainee or general student and participate in a qualification while in the workplace.

Classroom Delivery: Our Training Centre is located at Homebush with small classes for dedicated and individualised support. Some students participate in a traineeship by coming to classes with a combination of employment based learning. ATC often run classes from other sites where applicable.

Online Delivery / Electronic: ATC have an online Learning Management System that provides Students with learning material, assessments and support. Regular contact is made by your assessor to provide you with any assistance and ensure you are on track with completing your work in line with your training plan.

Distance Delivery: Students in regional areas are provided with workbooks and assessments to complete. Regular contact is made by your assessor to ensure you are on track and provide you with assistance.

School Based Traineeships: This training differs depending on your location. Those undertaking their traineeship with classroom delivery are expected to attend the Homebush Training Centre each school holiday period for training.

What Government Funding is available?

Government funding for training comes under several titles like Job Seekers, New Entrant, Existing Workers and User Choice. Each program is dependent upon Government policy and eligibility criteria which varies between states and territories. It is best to contact our Training Centre Manager for more information.

What is fee for service?

ATC’s courses are still available to anyone even if they are not eligible for Government funding. Course fees are payable and payment options are available. Contact our Training Centre Manager or send an enquiry form for more specific information.

What is the cost of a course?

The cost of the course is dependent upon the student’s eligibility to receive Government funding. Contact our Training Centre Manager who can help determine whether funding may be available and provide specific information on course costs.

Where can I undertake the course?

Face-to-face training is provided at our training facility or at a work place depending on student numbers and timetabling. All courses are offered on a correspondence basis and can be started anytime during the year.

The Training Centre has a variety of facilities including:

Conference Room

The conference room has the capacity to seat up to 34 people in round-table conference style or can be configured as a lecture room.

It has adjustable lighting to accommodate audio-visual presentations in a professional environment.

All additional equipment and catering needs can be accommodated by the Training Centre.

Training Rooms

These are purpose-built rooms for training sessions and seminars and can accommodate up to 28 participants when both rooms are utilised (16 people per room).

All rooms come equipped with white boards. A full range of audio-visual and training equipment is available for hire.

Flexible room configuration allows for the accommodation of most learning needs.

Computer Lab

The facility is equipped with modern computers in a simulated office environment. There are 16 workstations for participants plus one for the course instructor. The facilities infrastructure allows for the delivery of most software applications.
